sketch dailies Favorite muppet

I don't have a favorite Muppet, in fact I never watched the Muppets. I picked Gonzo because I thought him for a bird. Found out later that he likes chickens?? And that he's some sort of alien. Whatever... here's a painting that makes little sense to Muppet people.

sketch dailies "Monkey King"

Once in a while experimentation with styles is good for my soul.

I.F. Spark

Francis Williamson gave up his dental practice for the opportunity to live off the land in the yukon.  His last bit of dentistry was to cap two of his own teeth, one with flint and the other with steel. He would never be without a way to spark up a fire. This technique worked especially well when his teeth were chattering."Frank of Skunk hollow" is his new name.

I.F. voice

A Coqui frog's voice can reach up to 90 decibels and carry for miles. Should come in handy when looking for a princess to kiss.

sketch daily gremlin

I didn't participate in painting Jem or Prince for the sketch daily project. Pink and purple don't do it for me. So instead I painted another topic from this week "gremlin." I didn't know that they would reek havoc on aircraft... google...

Sketch daily babayaga

Until Yesterday I had no idea that there was such a thing as a Babayaga. Google it cuz I ain't splainin it... It's basically a Russian witch that lives in a house supported by chicken legs and flies around in a mortar and pestle. Eats little kids etc etc. It's safe to just stay away from it.

I.F. twisted

It's a rare deal to see a Jackalope but if you see one with twisted antlers then you have witnessed all but the rarest of things. Big foot thinks that seeing a twistedanntleredJackalope is freaky.

I.F. Prehistoric

I have to believe that the art of decoying was practiced by prehistoric man. We'll never know for sure because Gub hadn't invented the alphabet yet and no records were kept.

I.F. exotic

If you are an exotic bird you can live in this exotic bird house, the only caveat is that you go # 2 outside somewhere.

I.F. search

Knowing the inherent issues with needles and haystacks why would you take the risk? The search is on...

I'm teaching a class at the University of Utah Valley. My assignment for this week was to illustrate in high key. I joined in with my class, it was a good exercise.
